Name: Tim Tarara Born: Rochester, MN Hometown: Rochester, MN Hockey Experience: Started playing hockey in NW Rochester in 1958. Played up through midgets, and was a member of all-city teams at that early times. Played High School hockey at John Marshall as a junior and at Mayo as a senior. Played freshman college hockey at Bemidji and some junior hockey at Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Since the end of "competitive" hockey I have stayed involved by playing in men's leagues, and Sunday mornings with the Mayo Clinic group, and then on to the MJDHL. How did you get your start with MJDHL: Got my start in the MJDHL by invitation. Started playing with MJDHL: Have been with the group from the beginning. Jersey number and why you chose it: I chose jersey #6 because I have always worn that number going back to youth hockey. Playing status: I am still actively playing. Family: I live with my first wife Bonnie, I have 3 daughters, and 7-3/4 grandchildren ranging in age from 0 to 8. Occupation: I am retired from Mayo Clinic after 38+ years.
